Marco Fahd

Group Chairman & CEO

Marco Fahd is a successful entrepreneur and the Chairman & CEO of the Versatile Group.

Under Marco’s leadership and commercial acumen, the Group has grown to provide a comprehensive, end-to-end asset development and construction offer, serving landmark projects in Australia and the Middle East.

Marco began his business education at an early age, working in his father’s retail tiling business.

Between 2002 and 2011 Marco scaled his father’s business, introducing an importing business, then creating specialist tiling & stone and fitout functions to Versatile’s suite of capabilities. His track record of success led to him being recognised in 2012 as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the Business Leader of the Year at the Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence.

In 2020 Marco took the Group’s capability overseas to Dubai, setting up the Group’s Dubai-based professional services firm, Versatile International.

In 2022, Marco co-founded PERIFA alongside Fabrizio Perilli, bringing the development arm to the Group’s capability, rounding out the full-service real estate service.

Fabrizio Perilli

Group Managing Director

As well as being Versatile Group’s Managing Director, Fabrizio Perilli is a trusted advisor to the Government and NSW Building Commissioner and is instrumental in driving the change required to ensure quality development is achieved in NSW and Australia.

With almost three decades’ experience in management, construction and engineering—including 15 years at TOGA Group as its CEO, Development and Construction—Fabrizio is responsible for the company’s strategic plan and driving an agenda where quality and confidence remain at the heart and forefront of every project his team undertakes.

In partnership with industry and Government, Fabrizio is leading the change towards:

Chief Delivery Officer

Zac has over 25 years experience in construction and property development. Zac was a Director of Mirvac Constructions in NSW, QLD, WA and VIC. Zac is proud to have established himself as an influential and well-respected leader.

John Saleh

Construction Director

John Saleh is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in the construction industry. As the Managing Partner at Versatile Group, he has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and success since joining in 2009.

Simon Gobbo

Head of Construction

With over 20 years in the construction industry, including 15 years with Parkview Group, Simon’s visionary approach and strategic prowess sees him successfully lead high-performing teams.

Ben Richardson

Head of Construction, Queensland

Ben has over 25 years’ experience in construction, delivering major projects across the health, government, residential, and commercial sectors. He has held senior leadership roles at Mirvac and Icon and is known for his collaborative approach and strong site leadership.

Matteo Gotti

Head of Pre Construction & Procurement

Matteo heads our Direct Procurement division and is renowned for his professionalism, organisational and management skills, attention to detail and ability to manage and exceed client expectations.

Trent Anderson

Head of Operations

Trent spent 15 years at the forefront of the creation and growth of Built as a Tier 1 building contractor where he was inspirational in leading the company from $10m turnover with 10 staff to over $1 billion turnover with 600 staff nationally.

Samuel Maybury

Head of People & Culture

Samuel has a passion and track record for creating best practice processes that support a culture of collaboration, team work and trust.

Belinda Kendrigan

Head of Finance

Belinda brings over 20 years of finance and property experience, specialising in financial clarity, risk analysis, and aligning finance with business strategy. She transforms complex data into clear insights, driving sustainable growth while fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Julie Nguyen

Group Finance Director

Julie is a trusted finance and accounting professional, who leads Versatile’s finance division with accuracy and certainty.

Ahmad Trad

Group Chief Finance Officer

Ahmad Trad is a Qualified Accountant, a member of the Institute of Public Accountants, a Registered Tax Agent, ASIC Agent, and a Justice of Peace. He has over 16 years of experience in Tax and Business Advisory.

Paul Attard

Director of Business Development

Over the course of his 30+ year career Paul has founded and built construction businesses known for high quality and specialised work, and he brings this expertise to develop long term client partnerships at Versatile Group.

Budd Frome

Head of Public Sector

With over 20 years in the construction industry, including 15 years in Defence, Budd leads Versatile’s Public Sector construction division completing projects for the Department of Defence and Department of Education.

Michael Gordon

Head of Fit-out and Refurbishment

Michael brings 30+ years’ experience across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use sectors. A trained Quantity Surveyor, he has led cost planning and pre-construction teams globally, with a proven Tier 1 track record. Known for his industry networks and innovative approach, he empowers teams and drives results.

Michael Taranto

National Estimating and Cost Planning Manager

Michael brings over 30 years of experience across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use sectors. A traditionally trained Quantity Surveyor, he has led cost planning and pre-construction teams nationally and internationally, with a proven track record in Tier 1 property markets. Recognised for his strong industry networks and innovative approach, Michael empowers teams while driving results.
